Short version: no accounts, no ads, nothing about your beats stored on our servers.

What stays in your browser

BeatCraft uses your browser's local storage to remember your current beat on the home page, the beats you save by name, and your metronome settings. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to copy a share link, and the share link itself contains the pattern (in the part after #, which browsers do not send to servers).

AI features

If you press Generate or Get feedback, the text you typed and a text version of your current pattern are sent to our server and on to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to produce the answer. We don't store these requests or use them to identify you. Don't type personal information into those boxes. Nothing is sent unless you press one of those buttons.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
